3 Stages Preceding a Cure for Social Anxiety

Did you know that social anxiety ranks number three in psychological disorders in North America? This estimate is based on people actively seeking a cure for social anxiety; it does not take into consideration those who are too shy to seek help for their problem.

2. Attempting to Mix Socially

When it is evident that the anxiety feelings aren’t going away, the next move is to force oneself into the public, hoping to break the shyness shell.

3. Failure

The usual result is that the experiment only makes matters worse and the individual is back at stage 1, only the next attempt at stage 2 is even harder to accomplish because confidence is even lower.
